MYNY Properties LLC., ("MYNY Properties”, “we", "us") is committed to equal opportunity and non-discrimination in all aspects of the housing related services we provide. This policy covers all MYNY Properties employees without exception. MYNY Properties will not tolerate, condone, or allow discrimination. While the ability to control clients and third parties is limited, this does not diminish the obligation of MYNY Properties employees to comply with the laws and this policy.
Education and Procedures
We engage in periodic training of employees on anti-discrimination laws. When necessary, MYNY Properties may employ an outside lawyer or consultant to investigate a question and provide guidance in handling a matter related to fair housing.
MYNY Properties will not in any way retaliate against an individual who makes a report of discrimination or provides information concerning such actions nor will we permit any employee to do so. Retaliation is a violation of this policy and should be reported immediately. Any employee found to have retaliated against another individual for reporting unlawful discrimination will be subject to the same disciplinary action provided for offenders.
